Privacy Notice

At Black Code Studios we respect your privacy. This Privacy Notice explains what personal data we collect through blackcodestudios.com, how we use it, and how you can exercise your rights, in accordance with Mexico's Federal Law on the Protection of Personal Data Held by Private Parties (LFPDPPP).

1. Data controller

The party responsible for processing your personal data is Black Code Studios (trade name), an individual with business activity based in Mexico. For any privacy matter you can reach us at hola@blackcodestudios.com.

2. What data we collect

• Account data: your email address and a password, always stored encrypted (never in readable text), plus your email verification status.
• Purchase data: when you buy a product, the email tied to your payment, the transaction reference, amount, currency and payment status. Payments are processed by PayPal: we neither see nor store your card details.
• Device authorization data: temporary codes that let you link the MCPGo application to your account when you authorize it.
• Technical and usage data: basic, aggregated page-view logs kept on our own server. We do not use third-party analytics, advertising profiles or cross-site tracking.

3. Why we use your data (purposes)

Primary purposes (necessary for the service):

• Create and manage your account and sign you in.
• Deliver the product you purchased, enable its download and validate your license from the MCPGo application.
• Send you service emails: welcome, email verification, purchase receipt and password recovery.
• Provide support and answer your requests.
• Comply with legal, tax and security obligations.

We do not process your data for secondary purposes such as advertising or marketing, and we do not sell or rent your personal data to anyone.

4. Transfers and processors

To run the service we share only the strictly necessary data with providers acting as processors:

• PayPal — payment processing.
• Email and hosting provider — sending service emails and hosting the site.

These providers only process the data to deliver their service to us. Otherwise we do not transfer your data to third parties except at the request of a competent authority.

5. Your rights (ARCO)

You have the right to Access your data, Rectify it when inaccurate, Cancel it when no longer needed, and Object to its processing. You may also withdraw your consent or limit the use or disclosure of your data.

To exercise any of these rights, write to hola@blackcodestudios.com from your account email, stating your request. We will respond within the timeframes set by law. Note that cancelling your account may prevent use of the products tied to it.

6. Data retention

We keep your data while your account is active and, afterwards, only for as long as applicable legal and tax obligations require. When no longer needed, it is deleted or anonymized.

7. Security

We apply reasonable measures to protect your data: encrypted connection (HTTPS), passwords stored with strong encryption, and prepared database queries against injection. No system is infallible, but we work to reduce risks.

8. Privacy of the MCPGo application

The MCPGo desktop application runs locally on your machine and does not send what you build with it to the internet. Its only communication with us is to validate your license and, if you enable it, to check for updates. The details live in the Privacy Policy included inside the application itself.

9. Changes to this notice

We may update this Privacy Notice. The current version will be posted on this page with its last-updated date. Continued use of the site after a change means you are aware of it.
